Kikoto Ferries strengthens its commitment to maritime mobility at FITUR 2026
Events 30 Jan 2026
Kikoto Ferries was present at FITUR 2026, the International Tourism Fair held from January 21 to 25 at IFEMA Madrid, strengthening its positioning as a technology platform specialised in ferry ticket bookings and the digitalisation of maritime passenger transport.
Kikoto’s participation in this edition took place as a co-exhibitor at the Ceuta stand (7C02 – Pavilion 7), a strategic space to promote dialogue on maritime connectivity, innovation and cooperation between territories.
A key meeting point for the ferry sector and tourism innovation
FITUR 2026 once again brought together the main players in tourism, transport and mobility, becoming an essential meeting point to analyse the challenges and opportunities facing the sector. During the event, Kikoto shared its vision focused on:
- The digitalisation of maritime mobility
- Simplification and transparency in ferry ticket booking
- Strengthening connectivity between strategic territories
Our participation enabled knowledge exchange with tourism professionals, ferry companies, institutions and technology firms interested in improving the experience of travellers who use ferries as a means of transport.
Maritime connectivity as a strategic pillar
One of the main focuses of Kikoto’s presence at FITUR 2026 was maritime connectivity between key destinations such as Ceuta, mainland Spain, the Balearic Islands, Morocco and Algeria. These routes play a fundamental role in both passenger mobility and the economic and tourism development of the connected regions.
At Kikoto, we continue to focus on solutions that facilitate access to these ferry routes, optimising booking processes and offering a digital experience adapted to the current needs of travellers.
Technology applied to the ferry passenger experience
During FITUR 2026, Kikoto highlighted its technological approach as a driving force for change in the maritime sector. Our platform allows users to compare routes and ferry operators, access clear fares and manage bookings quickly and efficiently, both via the website and mobile applications.
This technological approach reinforces our goal of making maritime transport more accessible, efficient and user-focused, contributing to more sustainable and connected mobility.
Kikoto and its commitment to the future of maritime transport
Participation in FITUR 2026 represented an excellent opportunity for Kikoto to strengthen relationships, generate new collaboration opportunities and continue positioning itself as a relevant player within the ferry and tourism ecosystem.
We will continue working to drive innovation, improve connectivity between territories and offer a ferry ticket booking experience aligned with current digital standards.
Kikoto Ferries continues navigating towards the future of maritime transport, always on board with innovation and technology.
